First look at world’s ‘super SUV’

The new British car company Eterniti Motors has released images of its first model, which will make its debut at the Frankfurt auto show this week.

Eterniti’s Hemera is described by its maker as the world’s first “super SUV”. It is said that it will “bring new levels of luxury and performance to the SUV segment”.

Production of the hand-built SUV is set to start in 2012.

Although not many details are shared, the SUV will have a limousine-like cabin, including reclining seats, iPads and a drinks cooler. Hemera will have also have 462kW on tap and a top speed approaching the 300-km/h mark.

The Hemera will be unveiled on September 13 by engineering boss and multiple Le Mans winner Alastair Macqueen and brand ambassador, former F1 driver, Johnny Herbert.
