Photos of the new Saab 9-5 have leaked out ahead of the car's scheduled launch at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
It's an important product for the beleaguered Swedish carmaker, which has been bought by supercar specialists Koenigsegg.
Despite numerous facelifts and tweaks, the current 9-5 is now 13 year old.
The new 9-5 - based on a fresh General Motors platform - appears to be a much sleeker offering than its predecessor, with an aircraft style wraparound screen.
It's likely to come with two suspension settings, to offer a more comfortable or sporty drive, four-wheel drive will be an option, plus engines will range from a frugal four cylinder with sub-150g/km CO2 emissions to a 2.8-litre V6.
