Ferrari has added a new variant to their entry level 430 supercar range. The new 430 Scuderia will join the existing V8 powered F430 Coupe and Spider.
Dramatically styled, the Scuderia is a severe, high-performance two-seater berlinetta (Ferrari parlance denoting a Coupe), featuring the best possible synergy of Ferrari's F1 technology in a road car.
Owing to its track based focus the Scuderia weighs in at 100kg less than the standard F430, tipping the scales at a scant 1250kg.
Coupled with an extraordinarily rev-hungry 380kW, 4.3-litre V8, performance promises to be epic.
The very latest Ferrari performance software - F1 Supefast - is onboard to enhance the dynamic driving experience as much as possible.
Gearchanges are reduced to just 60 milliseconds, and the E-Diff is combined with F1-Tract traction control for the first time in a single, integrated system.
The 430 Scuderia will be officially unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt in September 2007.
