Dodge has unveiled its new Viper SRT10 at the Detroit Motor Show with some poisonous power under its bonnet.
The new Dodge Viper SRT10's deep-skirted V-10 aluminum engine block was revised for a 1-millimeter larger bore.
This raised the displacement to 8.4 liters from 8.3 liters, while it now jolts out 445kW.
Transmission is via a manual six-speed gearbox.
According to Dodge the Viper SRT10 can go from standstill too 100km/h in less than four seconds.
Apparently it will do the 0-160-0-km/h accelerations and braking in about 12 seconds.
The 2008 Viper SRT10 remains available in two body styles - Roadster and Coupe.
