Maserati will unveil a dramatic 323-kW GT S sports version of its Quattroporte at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show.
Labeled a "real driving machine in the guise of a luxury saloon" the Quattroporte Sport GT S sees some significant improvements over the already-handsome vehicle.
The most notable change is an increase in power to 323 kW from a 4.7-litre V8, up from the standard 4.2-litre V8's 295 kW. This power increase is also communicated via a new sports exhaust.
The ride should be more rewarding, too, following adjustments to the front and rear suspensions, which now come with single rate dampers, stiffer springs and a lower ride height.
Furthermore, changes have been made to the gearshift management system.
The car's appearance is more aggressive too, and the GT S sports a new black grille, new headlights and black detailing around the doors and twin exhaust pipes. Seats are finished in a mix of Alcantara and leather.
The Quattroporte Sport GT S will debut at the Detroit Motor Show on January 12.
