Forget the Mustang! Here is Ford's next big thing - the Interceptor muscle car. If it goes into production it will square off against the brutish Chrysler 300C.

The Interceptor shares some genes with the iconic Mustang as it sits on a stretched platform of the latter.
However, the Interceptor is more aimed at the family man who still loves the idea of a potent muscle car but also needs to be practical.
Ford says its Mustang-inspired four-door saloon concept is a showcase of "modern American muscle".
The American carmaker translated the design language of its F-250 Super Chief straight on to this car.
Typical muscle car the engine is - a V8, in this case a 5.0-litre unit producing about 370kW but it is able to run on biofuel too.
