New 330d now available here
The 323i and 330d is joining the line-up, while there is a now a new entry-level 320i derivative available too. BMW also added the 3 Series Sport models to the range.
Boasting BMW's 3.0-litre diesel engine, the 330d has the most powerful diesel yet seen in the 3 Series.
Output from this six-cylinder power unit is 160 kW at 4 000 r/min, with a torque figure of 480 Nm which is available between 1 750 and 2 750 r/min.
The 330d accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 246 km/h. Claimed fuel consumption is 6.5 litres of diesel fuel on 100 kilometres in the composite EU cycle.
Maximum power for the new 323i with its straight-six engine is 130 kW and peak torque of 230 Nm.
BMW says that fuel economy for the 323i is 8.4 litres/100 km in the composite EU cycle. According to BMW the 323i goes from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds with a top speed if 229 km/h.
3 Series Sport
The 3 Series Sport model highlights the sporting side of the 3 Series sedan, enabling the customer to personalise his car to an even higher standard.
Inter alia, the Sport model comprises a sporting suspension set-up, the Aerodynamics Package (front and rear air dams with fog lamps) and side-sills, as well as exclusive light-alloy wheels (17 inches) with different-sized tyres front and rear.
Inside the car, the Sport model features sports seats and the M leather sports steering wheel as its two most important features.
Special aluminium trim trips in Glacier Silver, the M footrest as well as M door entry strips round off the package.
The new 320i Start is positioned as the entry-level model in the 3 Series range.
With this value for money car you still get air conditioning, electric windows, power steering and a BMW Business AM/FM tuner with integrated front-loading CD.
