Mahindra launches Xylo panel van

Mahindra SA follows the launch of its seven-seater Xylo MPV with a panel van derivative.
The Xylo panel van is powered by a 2.5-litre turbodiesel engine producing 84 kW at 3 800 r/min and 240 Nm between 1 800 and 3 000 r/min. It is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The panel van measures 1 895 mm in height, 4 520mm in length and is 1 850mm wide. It has a turning circle of 5.4m that should make it easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces.
The cargo area is separated from the driver and passenger by a wire mesh. There is said to be ample space for occupants up front too, with a lockable storage space beneath the driver's seat.
The driver's seat can be adjusted for height, while the steering wheel can be tilted to give the driver the best driving position. Xylo comes with air conditioning, power steering, electric windows and an immobiliser.
