Only a few months after the launch of its Etios Cross (July 2014) Toyota has expanded its budget Etios range yet again with a limited edition - the Etios Sport.
It's based on the standard Etios hatch to which has been added an aero kit (front and rear bumper, body-coloured skirts, spoiler), distinctive badging and 15" alloy rims. Four colours; silver, black, red, blue.
The new Toyota Etios Sport is priced at R153 500 and there are only 200.
DIFFERENT AUDIO SYSTEM
The audio system is similar to that in the Etios Cross (USB and auxiliary ports as in the Etios XS plus Bluetooth).
The Sport has 66kW/132Nm 1.5 petrol engine and a five-speed manual gearbox.

Standard kit includes colour-coded side-mirrors and door releases, fog lights, remote central-locking, power windows, aircon, power steering, headlight levelling, seven cupholders, chillable glove box "door-ajar" chime and 'belt up!' warning, two front airbags, antilock brakes and an immobiliser.
Toyota SA marketing boss Kerry Roodt said: "The Etios has striking exterior details which will certainly get you noticed. With its distinctive styling, comprehensive specification and price I have no doubt it will be a hit with younger customers."
