Lamborghini will present its limited edition LP 570-4 Squadra Corse at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. This V10-powered monster is capable of sprinting from 0-100km in 3.4 seconds!
FRANKFURT, Germany – The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will make its global debut at the 2013 Frankfurt International Motor Show.
This the most extreme variant of the Gallardo yet is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo - the race car that features in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series.

According to Lamborghini: “The Squadra Corse delivers high levels of performance while bringing the thrills associated with motorsport to the street-legal world.”
TOP SPEED 320KM/H
The Gallardo Squadra Corse is derived from the race car and as a result uses its V10 engine. It also has the same rear wing for increased stability during high-speed cornering. Both the rear wing and the bonnet are made of carbon composite.
It's not small - the Squadra Corse weighs 1300kg, 70kg less than the Gallardo LP 560-4. The weight-reduction allows it to rocket to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and on to 320 km/h.
Like the Super Trofeo competition version, the Squadra Corse is based on the technical underpinnings of the Gallardo Superleggera. Its 419kW V10 is mated to the automaker’s e-gear six-speed transmission operated by paddle-shifts.
'PACKED WITH SHEER EXCITEMENT'
According to the automaker: “Every kilometre driven in the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse is packed with sheer excitement, in part due to its unrelenting grip in virtually all situations thanks to its all-wheel drive.”
The name Squadra Corse refers to the department within Automobili Lamborghini which manages all motorsport activities from GT3 to the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo championships in Europe, Asia and America.
The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo is the only single-brand racing series in the world that features all-wheel drive race cars. The Gallardo Squadra Corse is a highly concentrated driving machine that offers an unrivalled driving experience with breathtaking cornering speeds and fast, immediate response.
ITALIAN RACE-BRED MACHINE
The Gallardo Squadra Corse has decals along it flanks displaying the green, white and red colours of the Italian flag.
The exterior is finished in matte black on its large rear wing, which contrasts with the body paintwork. The bonnet, front air intakes, rear diffuser and 19” alloy rims wheels are black, the brake callipers available in red, black or yellow.
Carbon-fibre materials (doors, seats and centre-console) and Alcantara leather (facia, head restratraints rest and seat cushion) are used throughout the cabin.
