Korean automaker Kia has revealed the first official images of its new flagship sedan. Codenamed KH, the new model is Kia’s first rear-wheel drive sedan and according to Kia the KH is “distinctive, modern and classic”.
The new model has a bold front-end design and a giant version of the brand's family-face radiator grille flanked by sloping headlights.
At the rear you can spot unique light clusters and chromed accents which give the KH sporty appeal.
It’s rumoured the KH will mark the debut of a 10-speed auto transmission under development by Hyundai and Kia. The gearbox is slated to debut in the Hyundai Genesis and Equus by 2014.
Kia’s Soon-Nam Lee says: “Our all-new flagship sedan integrates all of our key capabilities - design, performance, high-tech features and infotainment - into one striking model.
“Although launch timings for those overseas markets it will go to are yet to be confirmed, this all-new rear-wheel drive large sedan will definitely become the leading model of our global line-up, showcasing the best of the best of Kia."

V8 POWERED: The new KH will ride of the same platform as Hyundai's Equus sedan. This means the KH is likely to sport a V8 engine mated to an eight-speed auto.
