Kia’s Cee’d stunned fans - one way or the other - when it was revealed at the Geneva auto show in 2007. Now the Korean automaker will debut a new version for 2012.
The new four-door hatchback is longer, wider and lower than its predecessor, though with the same wheelbase, and the nose is dominated by Kia's "tiger-nose" grille and assertive, wraparound LED lights. At the front you can spot Kia's larger badge and new windscreen design
In profile the pronounced front and rear emphasise the new models' sporty stance.
AIRCRAFT THEME
The new model has many interior updates, with Kia hoping to give the model a more premium market appeal. The trim levels have been improved, the multimedia system now incoporates a touch-screen and driving position ergonomics have been bolstered.
The fascia layout has a cockpit-like design with an aircraft-themed layout. The main control panel wraps around the steering wheel for easier access to the controls and soft-touch materials have been used throughout the cabin.
Carefully considered precision detailing, Kia says, gives the cabin a more prestigious look and feel than that of the current generation model.
