• New N-Sport in SA
• Power increased to 85kW/160Nm
• New body kit
CAPE TOWN - Hyundai has added a new variant to its popular i20 range - the N-Sport. The new hatchback gains style tweaks and an increase in power.
The N-Sport is powered by the same four-cyclinder 1.4 litre engine, mated to a six-speed manual, as its siblings though tuned to deliver 85kW/160Nm (up from 74kW/133Nm).
The i20 sits on independent MacPherson strut suspension at the front and semi-independent torsion beam at the rear.
SPORTY BODY KIT
The new i20 made its South African debut in February 2015, and the N-Sport adds an arguably cooler variant to the local range.
The N-Sport gains new 17" alloy rims, a stainless steel free-flow exhaust and N-badges on the front mudguards and rear door.
Its sport body kit comprises new side-skirts, front and rear bumper trim and a spoiler.
Standard kit includes auto folding side-mirrors, smartphone dock with USB, Aux and Bluetooth connectivity.
