GENEVA, Switzerland - International automaker Honda unveiled a new Civic Tourer concept at the 2013 Geneva auto show ahead of a production version that will appear at the Frankfurt show.
With the launch of Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology in the Civic models, the CR-V is the next family member to have the 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine. It will be available on the two-wheel drive, manual transmission CR-V.
AUTO DELIGHTS
Another highlight on the Honda stand was one of the Civics being raced in the 2013 World Touring Car championship by Italian Gabriele Tarquini and Portuguese Tiago Monteiro .
There’s also a JRM Racing HPD ARX-03a running off a 3.4-litre LM-V8 engtine and HPD-developed chassis. The car was used in the LMP1 class during the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 and finished sixth.
The NSX Concept also makes its European debut at the show. While the exterior styling remains true to the original car’s styling, it also showcases the car’s evolution at the same time.
