GENEVA, Switzerland – Ford is showing its new EcoSport at the 2013 Geneva auto show - a model that expands its growing SUV line-up.
The EcoSport will offer a range of efficient powertrains, among them a 92kW one-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, an 81kW 1.5 petrol engine and a 67kW 1.5 diesel engine.
GROWING RANGE
Ford’s chief EcoSport programme engineer, Nick FitzGerald, said: “The all-new EcoSport is extremely economical, flexible and stylish and will - alongside the new B-MAX compact multi-activity vehicle, the Fiesta and all-new Tourneo Courier – complete a comprehensive small-car range for Europe.”
The EcoSport will be the second SUV launched in Ford’s expanding European range when it goes on sale later in 2013. It is scheduled to arrive in South Africa mid-2013.
