LONDON, England – Nissan lifted the virtual covers from its Concept 2020 Vision earlier in June 2014 on the PlayStation racing title Gran Turismo 6... now we have the real thing.

The car was conceived by the team from Nissan's European design studio in London for the latest effort from the PlayStation driving franchise Gran Turismo  but could be the backbone for how future high-performance Nissans might look.

The concept is described as "an all-wheel-drive, 2+2 sports car" equipped with racetrack technology. Nissan's main area of focus was on airflow management to ensure the virtual car performs as "realistically" as possible.

Visitors to Nissan’s stand at the show will be able to drive the concept in one of several Gran Turismo 6 gaming pods equipped with Oculus Rift 3D virtual reality gaming headsets. It will be available for download in Gran Turismo 6 from July 2014.

Nissan will also will also showcase its GT-R Nismo and record-breaking GT-R Time Attack versions on the famous Goodwood track.

The GT-R Nismo GT3 will be driven GT Academy winner and current Le Mans JS P2 driver Jann Mardenborough.
