At launch, only the 4.2 V8, 3.0 TDI and 2.4 V6 models were available.
Now Audi of SA is introducing the A6 3.2 FSI multitronic at R428 500 while the quattro six-speed tiptonic will retail at R461 000.
Powering the A6 3.2 range is a 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine utilising Audi's advanced Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI) system.
This engine boasts all the fortes of an ultra-modern petrol engine: FSI direct petrol injection with on-demand fuel supply, four-valve technology, a variable intake manifold, as well as infinite camshaft adjustment on both the intake and exhaust sides.
Maximum output is 188 kW at 6 500 r/min, maximum torque 330 Nm at just 3 250 r/min. More than 90% of the engine's maximum torque is available throughout a wide speed range from 2 400 - 5 500 r/min, a truly unique feature on a naturally aspirated V6 engine.
The A6 3.2 FSI range is available immediately at all Audi dealers country wide. As with all Audi models, pricing includes a 5-year or 100 000 km full maintenance plan.
