Mazda will also use the event to debut its regenerative braking system i-ELOOP technology, although the automaker’s environmental technology development strategy will also involve the introduction of electric devices to further improve fuel economy and reduce carbon emissions.
The Mazda6 at the Moscow show (August 29 – September 9, 2012) will, the automaker says, also stand as the flagship for new Mazda products with style, luxuriousness and responsive driving befitting its role.
The show car will be fitted with a 2.0 direct injection Skyactiv petrol engine mated to a six-speed Skyactiv automatic transmission.
The Mazda6 will be introduced in South Africa in the first half of 2013, Mazda SA told Wheels24.
