The occasion was the launch of double-cab versions of the 'Cruiser and cosmetic and tech changes on the whole range of 70-series - the place, a particularly tough 4x4 route in the Western Cape (SA), the cause some rather injudicious driving by a journalist who took the Cruiser "trooper" way too high on the near 45-degree slope in the background. Damage to the car was limited to dents and a broken door mirror - not even the windows broke. And the "troopie" was with us for the rest of the journey
