Renault South Africa has added an advanced, highly efficient turbocharged engine to its new-generation Mégane range. Designated TCe (an acronym for Turbo Control efficiency), the new 1,4-litre engine links superior efficiency and fuel economy to high specific output and low operating and maintenance costs. It features twin overhead camshafts and 16 valves.
