IN THE KRUGER: A tropical deluge that hit the whole Kruger Park over January 17/18, 2012 caused flooding that tore out bridges, destroyed roads and caused hundreds of local and foreign guests to be evacuated - many by helicopter. It also played havoc with a Jeep media launch scheduled over the same period. This is the Bayamiti River in the southern Kruger - usually a sand river with pools and browsing rhino.
