Paris - The 39th Dakar Rally, which will be held from January 2 - 14 2017, sees competitors travel through Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia.

The Dakar Rally, arguably the world's most gruelling race, features some of the toughest terrain in the world.

The race starts in the Paraguayan capital of Asuncion on January 2 and will competitors will race through Bolivia and Argentina, finishing in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires on January 14.
