WATCH: WRC pass goes horribly wrong

Sweden -  Citroen World Rally Championship driver Kris Meeke retired on day three of the WRC round in Sweden after losing power in his C3 when snow passed through the vehicle's turbo.

Little progress made

Meeke, 38, struggled in 10th place on Friday and continued to battle on Saturday. Being the fourth car on the track, Meeke hit a snow bank on stage 13, resulting in a turbo failure.

In a bid to overtake Meeke who had slowed down, Toyota driver Ott Tanak made contact with Meeke who was then forced to retire from the event.
