Cape Town – South Africa was shocked to learn of the tragic death of motorsport legend Gugu Zulu on Monday (July 18).
Zulu and his wife, Letshego, along with other climbers, set out to scale Mount Kilimanjaro in support of Trek4Mandela.
Zulu reported flu-like symptoms before being rushed down the mountain when he encountered breathing problems. He died shortly after.
Honouring the fastest brother
Waterford Financial Management Proprietary Limited released a statement in which it says that a trust in honour of Zulu will be opened.
The statement reads:"We can confirm that we have been approached by long standing clients of ours Stephen and Leigh Watson to open a banking account for the Gugu Family Trust (to be formed) and to establish the Trust for the benefit of the Zulu family.
In the interim pending registration of the Trust, we have opened the banking account, details as follows:
