Meet the 'Monstang' – a first of its kind SA-built drift car

Cape Town - Two-time South African National Drift Champion Jason Webb in celebrating the release of his custom-built Roush 5.0-litre Mustang - meet 'The Monstang'

The vehicle, created Ford Performance in partnership with car specialists Roush, is the 1st time in South African motorsport that, says Ford, "a modern, high-end production car has been purpose-built into a 100% specific drift face car".

542kW Monster

Jason and his team have been working on this car for months to transform it from a luxury street beast into a stripped-out Roush Level 3 V8 Supercharged 542kW tyre-slaying track weapon.
