#JaguarSCH2017: Classic Car Friday in 10 cool pics

Knysna - Vintage has never looked this good, and all in one place. Stunning classic cars in mint condition, with rumbling, ferocious engines had motorsport fans excited throughout the entire day.

Classic Car Friday enters its fifth-consequctive year at the 2017 Jaguar Simola HillClimb event, this edition saw 64 entries spread across eight classes and 32 marques of automakers.

Its easy to see why so many petrolheads make the trip to Knysna each year; watching car after car attack the 1.9km climb, leaving their loud exhaust notes ringing with beautiful engine notes echoing down the hill.

Franco Scribante claimed his third victory at the Classic Conqueror Shoot Out at the end of the day in his 1970 Chrevron B19; Charles Arton was second in his 1979 March Formula Atlantic single-seater and Peter Jenkins as third fastest 1971 Chevron B19.

Take a look at just some of the race-bred machinery that had us salivating at not only their beauty, but their perfectly maintained engines.
