The Alfa Romeo 4C was chosen by Eurosport Events as the official safety car of the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) during the 2014 season.

The 4C will sport special WTCC livery and will be on the grid for every race starting with the Moulay El Hassan Circuit of Marrakech (Morocco) on April 13.
The 4C was named “Most Beautiful Car of 2013” at the 29th Paris International Automobile Festival.

Designed by Alfa Romeo engineers and built at the Maserati plant in Modena, the 4C is represents the essential sportiness embedded in the 'Alfa Romeo DNA'.
The mid-mounted turbo engine produces 178kW/200Nm, sending power to the rear wheels via a twin-clutch transmission.
The two-seater sprints from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 260km/h.
