Solberg star on Mexico Day 1

Leon, Mexico - Norway's Petter Solberg, at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta, won the opening special of the Rally of Mexico, the third leg of the 2012 World Rally championship.

The 2005 World champion edged France's defending title-holder Sebastien Loeb (Citroen) out by by 0.4sec with another Norwegian, Mads Ostberg (Ford Fiesta) third at 0.6sec. Here are the results...
