Rreigning V8 champion Ben Morgenrood leads the V8 championship after round one ahead of Franco di Matteo (Jaguar). Mackie Adlem and Terry Wilford were both in great form at Zwartkops, with Mackie snatching the first pole position of the 2014 season.

Shelby Can-Am championship leader Alan Eve will be on the grid to do battle with Thomas Reib and Andrew Strike who have championship points in the bag from Zwartkops.
Alister Brown, Doug MacDonald and Fritz Kleynhans will be equally determined to score their first points of the 2014 season.
