The British-designed, South African-built supercar has been entered by SA Noble distributors, Centurion's Lazarus Performance Cars.
The 320 kW, 300 km/h Noble is capable not only of accelerating to 100 km/h un under four seconds, but also of upsetting the Tarmac Challenge applecart thanks to its ability to lap considerably quicker than most of its rivals on the event's circuit stages, to enable Lindenberg to be cautious enough on the trickier sections of the rally stages.
But it still won't be easy, thanks to the efforts of last year's winners Charl Wilken and Greg Godrich in their giant-killing double rally champion Auto Pedigree Castrol Toyota Tazz, 2004 winner Michele Lupini and Dave McGregor in the fearsome Silverstone Tyres Sandton Saab 9-5R and 2003 winner Dawie Olivier and Carolyn Swan's unlikely but fast Toyota Turbo Breadvan among several other top crews.
The Bosal Cars in Action Tarmac Challenge starts at WesBank Raceway with Sandton Saab Special Stage at 09h00 before heading for Gerotek and the Silverstone Tyres Mountain Challenge on the facility's Ride & Handling Track at 11h00.
Then it's the Subaru Dynamic Handling Special again at Gerotek, before the BP Cleaner Special again on the Ride & Handling Track.
From there, crews head to the Subaru Zwartkops Raceway Special at 14h00 and finally the BP Cleaner Unleaded Special on the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit at 16h00.
