Online drift icon, Ken Block, has secured his first Rally America series win since moving from Subaru to Ford.

Block's win, at the weekend's 100 Acre Wood Rally in Missouri, was by 21 seconds over second placed Antoine L'Estage.

Although Block has won the Missouri event four times previously, this was his most challenging 100 Acre victory.

He started the second day over a minute adrift and in third place, yet overcame the deficit to claim victory.

The founder of DC Shoes, and renowned personality in extreme sports circles, changed car brands earlier this year – aiming to graduate to the WRC series full-time next year, where Ford has a presence and Subaru is absent.

Block’s Fiesta really car is a key part of Ford’s marketing strategy of finally bringing one of its Eurocentric designs to market, at home, in North America.

The Ken Block Fiesta is prepared and maintained by the Monster rally team, which now turns its attention to preparing Block for his FIA WRC debut in Mexico - at the hands of a Ford Focus.
