The Argentine Toyota Factory played host to the Imperial Toyota Team as they tested their 2012 Dakar Rally competitors.
Other teams which tested there vehicles included the Overdrive outfit featuring two South African Hilux bakkies, a Japanese crew in Land Cruisers and seventy-year-old Yoshimasa Sugawara in one of two Hino Series 500's, entered in the truck category.
After a few short stints around the Toyota test track, both Giniel de Villiers and Duncan Vos were satisfied with their vehicles.
Teams will travel to travel to Mar del Plata for scrutineering, press conferences, finalisation of race formalities ahead of the race day on January 2.
