Opel GTC concept
Opel is set to stun the motor industry with a bold new design direction which will spearheaded by a radical concept car, the GTC.
This General Motors subsidiary is to unveil the GTC at this week's Geneva Motor Show.
The GTC shows a future design language for Opel
This concept coupe is apparently to become the new Vectra, which is due to go on sale in two or three years time. The next Astra will also take styling cues of the GTC.
The concept features an aggressive front end design dominated by large vertical aluminium intakes that intersect the headlamps. The elements are rpeated on the rear.
With the GTC, Opel also introduces a clever rear-seat configuration that Opel calls Flex4. The backs of both rear seats can be docked separately to the front seats via a power remote control.
The seats pushed far forward creates a spacious flat load floor.
Under the concept's bonnet lurks a 221kW 2.8-litre V6 engine paired with all-wheel drive.
