JOHANNESBURG - Six men were arrested on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, for allegedly killing a motorist during a road-rage incident, Gauteng police said.

Captain Kay Makhubela said: "The men were travelling in a VW when it collided with a Tazz on Saturday. They then took out tools such as spanners and beat the Tazz driver."

MURDER CHARGES


The 37-year-old driver suffered severe head injuries and died in hospital on the same day. The incident happened in Zola, Soweto.

The men, aged 25 to 29, were arrested in Dobsonville, Zola and Moletsane.

They will appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Thursday, October 4, 2012, to face murder charges.
