Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Niki Lauda - Many still consider those names and their era, the golden age of Formula 1.
Lots of things have changed since then including a different calibre of drivers and technological advancements to the cars. The era of electric cars and hybrids have become the norm these days especially in the world of motorsport.
Current state of F1
In the past, F1 used to rely mostly on driver ability with vehicles fitted with far fewer driving aids. Gone are the V8s and in came the milder yet lighter hybrid engines as well as the controversial DRS zones.
