Rosberg cruises to maiden Singapore GP victory

Singapore - Mercedes' Nico Rosberg has won his first Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, as he marks his 200th race.

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo cut the closing gap from 18 seconds in the final few laps down to half a second in the final lap but didn't have enough pace to grab P1.

Rosberg's team mate Lewis Hamilton settled for third with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen fourth.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who had started the race at the back of the grid, finished the race in P5.

The race had a dramatic start with Nico Hulkenburg crashing against the wall. There were a few close calls, and the race seemed rather mundane until the end as Red Bull's hopes were high for P1.
