Cape Town - Following Lewis Hamilton's fourth world championship win at the 2017 Mexican Grand Prix, here are five talking points from the title deciding race.
Hamilton's Early puncture
After a positive start to the race, Hamilton looked on course to overtake both Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen on the first lap. During the scrap for first place, Hamilton's right rear tyre clipped the nose of Vettel, causing him to suffer a rear puncture.
The champion-to-be then clawed his way back from last place and finished in P9, which was suffice to win the championship.
Verstappen proving his worth
Red Bull's Verstappen dominated the race after his overtake on Vettel, proving yet again that the 20-year-old will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.
