Cape Town -  From Lewis Hamilton crowd-surfing at Silverstone to Ferrari's tyre woes, we take a look at some of the most exciting moments of the 2017 British Grand Prix.

Hamilton closes the gap

Lewis Hamilton claimed his fifth British GP this past weekend and closed the championship gap on Sebastian Vettel by just a single point.

Hamilton handed off his rivals as both Ferrari racers had tyre puncture issues which cost the team vital points in the Constructors' championship.

Astonishingly, Kimi Raikkonen managed to grab a podium finish despite sustaining a puncture in the final laps of the race.

Red Bull definitely had wings!

Fearless Red Bull driver Max Verstappen managed a 4th place finish, however, his assertive battle with Sebastian Vettel caused much excitement among the spectators.

Verstappen's team mate, Daniel Ricciardo, started the race in P19 and impressively ended in P5 ending off a good day at the office for the Red Bull team.

That said, here are the best moments from the 2017 British Grand Prix:
