Belgium - Brazilian veteran Felipe Massa was on Thursday (August 24) passed fit to take part in this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix following a bout of illness during last month's event in Hungary.
The Williams driver complained of feeling dizzy during practice in Hungary and was replaced in qualifying and the race by reserve Paul di Resta.
Massa was reported to have suffered an inner-ear problem from which he has since recovered. He went home to Brazil during Formula 1's European summer break.
He underwent an examination by the International Motoring Federation (FIA) medical delegate in the Spa-Francorchamps paddock on Thursday and was given the all-clear to race.
However if he suffers a setback, Di Resta is poised to be drafted in again.
