Monaco - Jenson Button, who stood in for McLaren-Honda's Fernando Alonso at the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix, received a phone call from the Spaniard to wish him well on his once-off return to the sport.
Earlier in April, Wheels24 reported that Alonso had rocked the racing world when he opted to skip the Monaco GP to instead race in the Indianapolis 500.
In the hilarious phone call, Alonso mentioned that he was impressed with Button's during qualifying.
Speaking live from Indianapolis, Alonso said: "Jenson my friend, I'm sure you wanted to hear my voice before starting the race. I just want to wish you the best of luck, I'm following you here on television you did amazing yesterday. Take care of my car.
Button replied by saying: "Okay, I'm going to pee in your seat".

Button's return to Formula 1 got off to a rocky start as he crashed his McLaren-Honda into Pascal Wehrlein's Sauber as he tried to pass at the Portier turn, tipping the Sauber on its side against the barriers.
