London - Former F1 driver Michael Schumacher is responding to treatment, that's according to former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo.
Reports of Schumacher's health have been few and far between as his family has decided to keep his condition private.
The seven-time F1 champion Schumacher suffered a severe head injury in a skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013.
'I know how strong he is'
This has led to many varying reports, some claiming positive news while others reporting that his condition is dire.
However, according to di Montezemolo, Schumacher's healthy is improving.
The Italian told Ecumenical News: "I'm very pleased to know that he is reacting.
"I know how strong he is. I'm sure that thanks to his determination, which will be crucial, he will come out from this very, very difficult situation."
