Montreal, Canada - Racing has resumed in Montreal after the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix was suspended for more than two hours. Torrential rain brought a red-flag suspension to the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday after 25 of the scheduled 70 laps. World champion Sebastian Vettel, who had started from pole in his Red Bull, was in the lead when the action was halted. Race stewards announced that all cars must be on full wet tyres for the restart. As with the original start, also under wet conditions, the Canadian GP restarts under safety car conditions.
