Mark Webber will stay with Red Bull for another year, the team has confirmed.
Webber has been with the team since since 2007 and won nine grands prix since then.
In 2012 his confidence in the team has grown and is currently second in the championship standings.
The announcement means he will partner with two-time World champion Sebastian Vettel for a fifth succesive season.
Speculation about a possible move to Ferrari as a replacement for Felipe Massa has been laid to rest.
In a statement on the Red Bull website, Webber claims he's comfortable with the team he believes he's doing the right thing.
"I know the team well and I'm very comfortable here; we have grown together over the years and it feels like absolutely the right thing to stay for another season."
