BERLIN, Germany - Sebastian Vettel has become a patron of the 2015 Formula 4 series, the German newspaper Bild reports.
The German junior single-seater category kicks off at Oschersleben this weekend (April 26).
Ferrari driver Vettel said: "I know some of the young drivers on the start list."
SCHUMI'S ADVICE NEEDED
All of Vettel's four titles at Red Bull were won at the wheel of an Adrian Newey-penned car, whose teenage son Harrison will star in Formula 4. Vettel also referred to Mick Schumacher, the 16-year-old son of his friend, mentor and F1 legend Michael.
Vettel admitted he regrets not being able to turn to Schumacher for advice when he weighed up joining Ferrari in 2015.
Vettel said: "I think I missed that part a lot simply because I knew he would tell me the truth of what he thinks. The honesty he had in giving me advice over the years is probably the most special thing about it."
NO NEWS ON SCHUMI
Michael Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, is reportedly working hard to keep news about the health of her famous client quiet.
Ever since Schumacher was injured during a skiing fall in 2013, Kehm has carefully guarded his privacy.
Italy's Autosprint claims this has been especially true over the past few months, during which there was barely any news at all about the health of the former Ferrari and Mercedes driver.
