VW flirts with F1 future

F1 AMBITIONS: Volkswagen says it will consider moving into Formula 1 only when it becomes the top global automaker in 2018.
FRANKFURT, Germany - Volkswagen might consider a move into Formula 1 in 2018,, the German automaker's head of motorsport has been quoted as saying.
"We have enough brands that could do that," he said, without being more specific.
Ulrich Hackenberg, head of technical development at VW, in March ruled out any interest in the brand joining Formula 1.
However Volkswagen's brands also includes multiple Le Mans 24 Hours winners Audi , Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat and Skoda.
