MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO, Italy - The snow-capped mountains of Madonna di Campiglio played host to an unusual slalom race as Ferrari F1 team mates Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa went head to head in two FFs.
The pair powered the Italian automaker's new 485kW V12 grand tourer through a slalom ski course down the Italian mountainside.
Alonso commented: "It’s incredible how easy it is to drive the FF even on a such a demanding surface and at the same time how high a performance level you can reach in it."
The race ended in a dead heat with a video of the action posted on the Ferrari website and subsequently uploaded to YouTube.
Massa said: “The most incredible thing about the car is the fact there is no need to compromise maximum performance and usability, whatever the driving environment.
“On top of that, it’s perfect for everyday use with the whole family in the car."
