LONDON, England - Daniel Ricciardo's hopes of replacing fellow Australian Mark Webber at Red Bull have been improved by a team announcement that he will test for the team at Silverstone this week.
Red Bull said the Toro Rosso driver, competing with Lotus' Kimi Raikkonen to partner triple World champion Sebastian Vettel in 2014, will be in their car on this afternoon (July 17 2013).

Webber, who has announced his departure at the end of the 2013 season to Le Mans sports-car racing with Porsche, will test the Pirelli tyres the following afternoon; Vettel will be in the car on Friday.
Portuguese Antonio Felix da Costa, a member of the Red Bull 'young driver' programme who will probably replace Ricciardo at Toro Rosso, will talso test.
The Silverstone test was originally intended to be for young drivers but was opened to regular race drivers to test for Pirelli after a spate of tyre blowouts at the circuit during the 2013 British GP in June 2913,
