Renault not using F-duct

accreditation
Contrary to rumblings in the Valencia paddock, Renault will not be debuting an F-duct system on its R30 car this weekend.

It is known that the French team is ready with the Red Bull-style low exhaust layout in the Spanish port city.

But as for rumours an F-duct is also ready, team boss Eric Boullier told Auto Hebdo: "We are not introducing it this weekend, but it will appear very soon."

Renault-powered Red Bull will be running an F-duct in Friday practice.

"If it works," team consultant Dr Helmut Marko told Zleine Zeitung newspaper, "it will give us three tenths."
