Red Bull orders? Mark's smart...

ABU DHABI, UAE - Red Bull will not impose team orders on Mark Webber for Sunday's 2012 Abu Dhabi F1 GP despite Sebastian Vettel being close to a third consecutive World title and the team the Constructors' title.

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner said the team expected Webber to obey his "team player" instincts even though, mathematically, he still has a chance of winning the title himself.

Vettel, 25, is 13 points ahead of nearest rival Fernando Alonso of Ferrari. He will become the sport's youngest triple champion if he retains his title.

'SUPPORT THE TEAM'

Webber is fourth behind third-placed Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) on 167 points compared to Vettel's 240 with three races remaining.

Horner said: "I am sure Mark will do everything to support the team. It is very difficult for him to win the championship and he's a smart guy, an important part of the team. I have every confidence he will do his best to help the team achieve its objectives."

Had any instructions been given to Webber? Horner answered: "I think you can talk about so many scenarios and then a scenario you haven't talked about is the one that comes up. Mark is a bright guy, been around a long time, a key member of the team.

"I think that he will be able to do his best. His primary objective is to make sure we achieve the Constructors' championship and for us that we have both drivers ahead of Fernando (Alonso).

"He was desperately unlucky last week (October 28's Indian F1 GP) not to have kept Alonso behind after having to run reduced power and kers for most of the race. He will be driving his best to ensure that we have two Red Bulls right up at the front."
