15:09 Hamilton is about to start another potential flier. Hulkenberg has slid into fourth place, edging ahead of Raikkonen by 0.06s.
15:08 Another lost lap from Hamilton, not sure if there is a problem with the car or if the driver isn't feeling comfortable.
15:07 Ricciardo pulls out of the way to let Hamilton through but again the Brit backs off. Still waiting for a genuine hot lap from Hamilton.
15:06 Ricciardo leaves the pits on a brand new set of ultras in the hope of protecting his provisional pole.

15:03 A 1:13.622 for Ricciardo! Yip, you read that right, a 1:13.622! And Vettel goes second, 0.930s down. Raikkonen goes third.
15:02 Raikkonen has a bit of a complaint about the driver ahead of him and it seems that is his own Ferrari team-mate Vettel.
15:01 Times coming through as Hulkenberg does a 1:15.1, Perez goes second half a second slower than his team-mate.
14:59 They have got to him, car is up on the jack and here comes a quick run in the other direction!
14:58 Drama for Hamilton as he has pulled over reporting "I've got no power." His mechanics are running and running fast!
14:57 Fired up and off they go to the end of the pit lane as we await the green light. There it is and Ricciardo is the first out on track.
14:56 Are you ready for this? It could get a little crazy out there!
14:51 And now we move onto Q3 and the pole position shoot-out...

14:49 Bottas won't be heading out again as he stops at the weigh-bridge on his way into the pits.
14:48 Dropzone: Bottas, Massa, Button, Grosjean, Gutierrez and Magnussen.
14:47 Ricciardo has just gone second fastest on his super-soft tyres, down to a 1:14.3! That means he can start the grand prix on those supers allowing him to have a longer first stint than his rivals. Great forethought from Red Bull.
14:45 Massa goes 11th on his next lap. Rosberg sets out on a new set of ultras but Ricciardo has put the supers on his RB12.
14:44 A 1:15.484 for Bottas as a front left lock-up leaves him P12. Massa does a 1:21.4, seven seconds off the pace!
14:43 Waiting for Bottas and Massa to record times, the only two drivers yet to do so.
14:42 Here comes Grosjean now, who was P12 after his first lap. He improves to, no he doesn't. His time is better but he stays P12. Button remains 11th.
14:40 Rosberg goes second, 0.435s down. Ricciardo is third 0.487s slower, and Vettel is 0.499s off the pace. Take out Hamilton and that is a really close battle.
14:39 A 1:14.8 for Kvyat as he is immediately on the pace. Sainz jumps him but is pipped by Vettel who in turn loses out to Hamilton. P1 is a 1:14.056.
14:38 Hulkenberg backs away from Button, which has a negative impact on Magnussen as he comes to an almost standstill.
14:37 Out laps put Kvyat ahead on a 1:27 but now the hot laps have begun.
14:35 Toro Rosso, Ferrari, Mercedes, Haas and the remaining Red Bull are immediately out on track.
14:34 This session is 15 minutes and we are about to start...
14:32 Q2 and just 16 drivers remain in the hunt for a place in the top ten on the Monaco GP grid.
14:29 Onto to Q2...
14:28 Alonso improves to P10, Grosjean to P8. So out are Ericsson, Palmer, Haryanto, Wehrlein, Verstappen and Nasr.
14:27 Hulkenberg dives out the way to give Perez a clean track and the Mexican racer jumps to fifth. Hulkenberg is P6. And Alonso is P15 with Magnussen 16th. And the chequered flag it out so here we go...
14:26 Ericsson, Palmer, Haryanto, Wehrlein are in the dropzone with Verstappen and Nasr, who are both out already.
14:25 1:15.8 for Alonso puts him up but now he's down with Gutierrez and Grosjean diving ahead of the McLaren driver. Now Massa improves, Alonso down to P14. Close!
14:24 Traffic at Rascasse for a frustrated Massa, who gives the obligatory angry wave. Or is it the royal wave?.
14:23 A 1:16.010 for Alonso puts him P13. That may not be enough for the Spaniard.
14:22 Alonso, the only driver without a time to his name, is out on the track and on the ultra-soft tyres, which have been the favoured tyres this session.
14:21 And we are back with 6:34 on the clock and another long queue at the end of the pit lane as drivers probably have one last run to book their place in Q2.
14:18 This is turning into a long 18-minute session as we are under the second red flag situation.
14:17 Good news is that Max is "okay". Bad news is that Max is out of qualifying. The RB12 is lifted into the air. Brave marshals are sweeping up the carbon fibre debris and checking the barriers.
14:16 Here comes Verstappen, who passes Sainz without any troubles as his former team-mate moves over. Oh no Verstappen is in the wall! He has hit the barrier and destroyed the front of his RB12. And it was an incredible first sector. Oh Max.
14:15 Ricciardo's first hot hot lap puts him fourth quickest and Sainz is up to sixth.
14:14 A P1 for Vettel on a 1:14.610, puts him 0.2s up on Hamilton. Raikkonen improves to fifth place and here comes Bottas in the Williams. He goes up from P9 to P7.
14:13 Manor are slowest of all at the moment with Pascal Wehrlein ahead of Haryanto. Still waiting for four drivers, Ricciardo, Verstappen, Alonso and Nasr, to set times. Nasr of course won't.
14:12 Lapping with Raikkonen now, Massa pulls over to let him through, and Raikkonen goes P6, slotting in behind Button.
14:11 Now here comes Kvyat who has shown great pace in the practices. A near-miss with the barrier and a time that is half a second down on Hamilton. Puts him P4.
14:10 P2 for Rosberg, who is 0.042s down, while Vettel is third, 0.419s off the pace.
14:09 Hamilton starts another flier and is fastest in the first sector, up in the second and it is a 1:14.8 for the Mercedes driver who had to avoid Rio Haryanto, who kindly pulled off to let him by.
14:08 A lock up at Mirabeau for Grosjean and it is a 1:16.6 for the Haas driver. And here comes Hamilton with a 1:23 as he had a bit of traffic to deal with.
14:06 16:03 on the clock as Q1 resumes with the two Haas drivers the first out. Mercedes and Ferrari are also in the queue.
14:04 Good news is there is a crane right there to hoist Nasr's Sauber out of the way. There is some cement dust going down to absorb the oil dropped by the stricken Sauber. Doesn't look as if too much was dropped which is really good for the remaining drivers.
14:03 Nasr's engine blew as he exited the tunnel leaving a Manor blinded. Thankfully the two did not make contact.
14:02 Game over for Felipe Nasr, who has had a massive engine failure. Huge plumes of smoke coming from the back of his Sauber and he has been told to stop his car. The red flags are out.
14:01 With traffic a huge problem in Monaco it is vital to get clear track and that's exactly what the three championship leaders have.
14:00 The light goes green and qualifying is underway with Vettel, Hamilton and Rosberg immediately out.
13:58 This session is 18 minutes from the green light to the chequered flag after which the slowest 6 drivers will be eliminated.
13:55 Five minutes to the start of qualifying.
13:49 Track conditions are near perfect with the air temperature 21'C, track temperature 40'C and only a few fluffy white clouds overhead.
13:44 The good news for the hard working F1 mechanics is that there were no major incidents in FP3, just a scrape of the barriers for Max Verstappen and also Jolyon Palmer. Nothing too serious to worry about.
13:41 News just in isn't great for the other side of the Ferrari garage as Kimi Raikkonen, who was only P9 this morning, has a five place grid penalty for a gearbox change. This is definitely not the circuit where one wants a penalty as overtaking is extremely difficult - and some times dangerous - in Monaco.
13:36 Although it appeared to be Red Bull and Mercedes' game in Thursday's practices, Ferrari came to the fore this morning with Sebastian Vettel claiming P1 with a 1:14.650. However that was only 0.018s up on Lewis Hamilton's time and 0.122s quicker than Nico Rosberg's.
13:30 Welcome to Monte Carlo, home to the rich and extremely wealthy, home to many of the F1 drivers and home to the Monaco Grand Prix, round six of the 2016 F1 Championship.
12:04 That is it for now. Please join us in two hours for qualifying for the Monaco GP. Cheers!
12:02 No improvement for the two Red Bullls as Vettel keeps his P1!
12:01 Ricciardo and Verstappen, who has re-entered the track, are still out despite the chequered flag being waved.

12:00 Yellow flag for Magnussen!
11:56 Both Mercedes now ahead of Ricciardo.
11:55 Hamilton fails to beat Vettel's time but slots into second with a time of 1:14.650.
11:53 Reports coming out of the garage that Verstapen damaged his suspension.
11:51 YELLOW FLAG! Verstappen locks up and scraps the barrier and injures his front wing! Unfortunate for the youngster.
11:50 However, the two Red Bull's are also back out on the track now.
11:49 Vettel goes fastest! Speedy time of 1:14.650.
11:48 Vettel and Raikkonen both on flyers now. Plenty of data to be collected here before the all important qualifiers.
11:46 Vettel re-enters the track as makes a last attempt at topping the session on brand new Ultra-softs.
11:42 the two Manor rookies out on track now.
11:39 Ricciardo's time still standing strong there with no driver able to challenge it as of yet.
11:38 6 out on the track at the moment.
11:35 Hamilton and Rosberg desperately trying to match the two Red Bulls, could Mercedes downfall be a challenging street track?
11:33 Ricciardo goes back into the pits for the time being.
11:30 30 minutes left in the session! Red Bull continue their good fortune of the weekend and are still in a one-two position.
11:28 Verstappen finally puts in a clean lap and goes second.
11:27 Ricciardo expectedly goes top and the first one to crack into the 1:14's of the day!
11:25 Perez is in fourth! Impressive from the Force India car there.
11:24 Ricciardo does a 1:15.192 in his first flying lap! Knocks Vettel off P2.
11:24 Top 8 so far all putting times in the 1:15's

11:21 Verstappen joins his former teammate Kvyat on the track now.
11:20 Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat and Carlos Sainz are on track now, They are setting impressive times once again.
11:17 15 minutes into this session and Rosberg still the fastest.
11:16 Red Bull yet to make an appearance as of yet after setting the pace on Thursday.
11:15 Rosberg goes fastest now. Vettel remains in third while Hamilton keeps his P3.
11:14 Palmer goes back to the garage while Vettel just went fastest with a 1:15.433. Ferrari look like a team on a mission right now.
11:12 Palmer hits the curb and goes spinning! Luckily he recovers with only minor damage to his car. Slight debris on the track now with the yellow flag being waved in Sector 3.
11:10 Hamilton goes fastest! The Brit puts in a 1:15.808 with Rosberg slotting into P2 with a 1:15.909 only to be pipped by Vettel with a 1:15.841.
11:10 Hamilton and Rosberg enter the track. Expect Raikkonen's time to beaten now.
11:08 Vettel joins his teammate on the same tyre compound, eager to get his flyer underway.

10:55 FP3 about to get started! Lovely day in Monaco, sun is shining and clear skies dawn upon the track.
10:50 Ferrari duo Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were left deeply disappointed with Thursday's action and will be hoping they can step up their game today.
10:45 Ultra softs seem to be the preferred choice for the drivers in Monte Carlo.
10:40 Second placed Hamilton and third placed Nico Rosberg followed couldn't quite keep with Ricciardo, while Verstappen put in some impressive lap times as he finished in P4 at the end of the day.
10:31 After an exciting Thursday where Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo surprised onlookers by topping FP2, can Mercedes and Ferrari reply accordingly?
10:30 Welcome back to the Circuit de Monaco! We're about to get underway for the third and final practice session. All times are local.
15:33 Join us again on Saturday for third practice and the all-important qualifying. Cheers.
15:32 So that is it, FP2 ends with a P1 for Ricciardo who is quickest ahead of Hamilton and Rosberg.
15:30 The chequered flag is out and FP2 is over but all the drivers will take the opportunity to practice a start on the grid.
15:29 And if you are wondering who is topping the speed trap, that's Ricciardo. 293.7 ahead of Haryanto's 293.2km. Rosberg is third at 292.8km.
15:28 Palmer improves again and he's up to P19, he is 3.1s off the pace.
15:27 Just minutes remaining and it appears as if FP2 will end with a Red Bull in P1. Ricciardo is ahead of Hamilton by 0.6s.
15:24 Strange things happen in Monaco as Hamilton's car has fallen off the front jack which came down on the car and dinged it. Sticky tape here we come!
15:21 Palmer is up to P20 on a 1:18.4.
15:19 Ricciardo has dropped from an 1:18.7 to a 1:19.1 and now a 1:19.4.
15:17 Palmer has just started a hot lap on a fresh set of ultra softs while Rosberg is on lap 24 on his ultras and his time is down to a 1:18.7.
15:16 Vettel is in the pits and his Ferrari mechanics are having a good look at the rear left of his car.
15:12 Vettel has kept going so clearly his latest meeting with the barrier did not do any serious damage.
15:09 Vettel meets the barrier again! He puts in an improved time, up to P9, but understeers his way into the barrier, hitting it with the left rear wheel.
15:06 The VSC is lifted as Palmer comes to complete his seventh lap of the afternoon.
15:05 The crane is already on hand and Magnussen's car gets a lift away from the circuit. Definite damage to the front of the car as it is hoisted into the air.
15:04 Oh no! More repair work for Renault as Magnussen is nose first in the barrier at the final corner. He says "all good" when asked if he is ok.
15:03 A 1:19.0 for Palmer on the super soft tyres. That means he is down in P22 at the moment.
15:02 It is a 1:19.2 for Rosberg who is on lap 13 on this set of ultras. That puts him about 0.3s per hap up on Perez and Massa.
15:01 Massa is also in the 1:19s as he lays down the laps.
15:00 Perez does a 1:19 in his Force India.
14:59 Long runs coming in now and Kvyat is in the high 1:18s to low 1:19s on his 15th lap on the ultras.
14:57 Good news as Palmer has just left the pits for his first lap of the afternoon.
14:55 21 of the 22 drivers have covered laps this session with only Palmer still on the sidelines. He had a big crash in FP1 and Renault are still putting the finishing touches to his RS16.
14:51 Reports coming through are the Haryanto is fine after his earlier crash. Apparently the impact looked a lot bigger than it was.
14:48 Vettel heads out on a hot lap and he does a personal best in sector one and is, no he's not, he spins his SF16-H and smacked the barrier with the rear of his car. He reports that he has damaged the rear wing and asks the team to get a spare ready.
14:45 Ricciardo is on another flier. Purple in the first and second and it is a 1:14.607 for the Red Bull racer, 0.606s up on Hamilton.
14:44 Another improvement from Rosberg but he stays P3, 0.491s off the pace. This is turning out to be an impressive showing from Ricciardo.
14:43 Hamilton ups his pace but remains P2 behind Ricciardo. He is 0.198s down on the Aussie.
14:42 We have a full set of purples out there as all the drivers have opted for the quicker Pirelli rubber. This is about the time that Q3 will be starting on Saturday.
14:39 Hamilton next but the yellows are out as Raikkonen has taken a trip down an escape road.
14:38 Now here comes Rosberg. He has put the ultras on his Merc but he is down on Ricciardo in the first sector, and crosses the line with a 1:15.5, which is half a second down on Ricciardo. Only enough for third.
14:36 Ultra soft run for Alonso now but he's not getting them to work very well and he is a full second down through the second sector. And it is 1.708s overall.
14:33 Raikkonen is out on the ultras but he's not exactly setting the timesheet alight. A 1:16.2 for the Ferrari driver and he is up to P6.
14:31 Kvyat is on a hot lap and he is flying but, oh no, traffic in the form of Massa. Welcome to Monaco!
14:30 Over at Ferrari, Vettel has done 15 laps on the super softs and is down in 17th place. Raikkonen has done 14 on the softs and is P18.
14:28 Great news for Massa, who is out on his out-lap in his newly-repaired FW38.
14:26 The VSC is lifted and practice is back to full speed with Verstappen laying down the laps.
14:24 Replays show it was a similar incident to Grosjean's except Haryanto's car was sent hurting across the track and into the barrier on the side.
14:23 Haryanto crashed at the chicane, resulting in another VSC. He lost it on the approach to the chicane, hit the barrier and it was game over.
14:22 Haryanto is in the barrier and it was a hard like. "I'm okay" reports the Indonesian rookie.
14:21 Verstappen takes third off his former team-mate as the Red Bulls and Toro Rossos continue to play at the front along with the Mercs.
14:20 Another improvement from Ricciardo and he lowers the benchmark to a 1:15.015. Sainz jumps up to third place.
14:19 Verstappen slots into third place. He is running the ultra soft tyres like Ricciardo while Hamilton, who separates the team-mates, is on the super softs.
14:16 Another change at the top as Ricciardo does a 1:15.3. He is running the upgraded Renault engine but given the nature of the track it won't make too much of a difference compared to the unit Verstappen is running.
14:14 New P1 as Hamilton goes quickest with a 1:15.489, 0.8s quicker than Sainz in the Toro Rosso.
14:13 A quick look at the timesheet, Rosberg 1:16.694, Hulkenberg, Gutierrez, Kvyat, Alonso, Sainz, Perez and Grosjean.
14:11 A moment for Hamilton as he struggled to control his W07 as he takes the corner after the tunnel. He turns left, car goes right and he jumps the chicane.
14:09 The VSC is lifted and we are back at full speed.
14:08 Virtual Safety Car is out for Grosjean, who has returned to the pits with half his front wing missing. He lost control as he came out of the tunnel, lost it on the bumps, and smacked into the barrier with the right side of the car. Front damage and debris on the track.
14:07 Unlike in FP1, Rosberg is running the super soft tyres while the Haas team-mates are on the ultras. Bottas goes P3 on the supers and Vettel takes it off him on the same rubber.
14:04 It is a Haas 1-2 as Grosjean has just hit the front ahead of Gutierrez. Rosberg improves to third, making that fifth as Vettel goes third and Haryanto fourth.
14:03 A 1:18.4 for Gutierrez gets the timesheet rolling with Grosjean second ahead of Rosberg, Vettel and Haryanto.
14:01 Gutierrez, Haryanto, Nasr, Rosberg and Grosjean lead the way out of the pits followed by Vettel and Raikkonen.
14:00 Pitlane light is green and second practice is underway in Monte Carlo.
13:55 Five minutes to the start of FP2.
13:52 Although rain is forecast for latter in the weekend, for now we have a dry track with the track temperature 34'C.
13:46 Sauber, Renault and Manor finished the morning's session at the bottom of the timesheets with Pascal Wehrlein slowest of all, 5.331s off Hamilton's P1 time.
13:39 While all that was going on Lewis Hamilton was setting the pace on the ultra soft Pirellis. A 1:15.537 put him 0.101s up on Rosberg. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was third quickest, 0.419s off the pace.
13:34 There were plenty of incidents in FP1 as Felipe Massa crashed, Esteban Gutierrez had an engine issue, Jolyon Palmer hit the barriers at the exit of Tabac and Nico Rosberg run over a manhole cover at St Devote and had a puncture. It was worse for Jenson Button. He hit the lifted manhole cover, which had been sent flying by Rosberg's car and it destroyed his McLaren's front wing.
13:30 Welcome back to Monte Carlo for the second of Thursday's two practice sessions. Here's hoping this one runs a bit more smoothly than the morning session.
11:31 The session will not restart due to the red flag, so that's a wrap for FP1! Join us in two hours for the build-up to FP2. Cheers!
11:29 RED FLAG! Rosberg's puncture causes it as they feel there is still too much debris on the track after Button also reports an issue.
11:28 And we're underway again!
11:27 5 minutes to go as Robserg nurses his car back to the garage.
11:24 Virtual safety car out now as Rosberg reports a left rear puncture!
11:23 Kvyat also causes another yellow flag after locking up.
11:22 Pirelli have said that the Ultra soft tyre is almost a second quicker than the Softs.
11:21 Hamilton into the pits now, and is joined by Vettel and Ricciardo .
11:19 Hulkenberg and Perez doing impressively to hang around the top ten, expected points this weekend?
11:18 Nasr causes another yellow flag! Nasr saves himself though and puts himself out of harms way an pulls away from the track safely.
11:17 Rosberg at top spot on speed trap chart with a 290km/h.
11:15 As expected, lots of drivers making mistakes out the tunnel. Happens every year.
11:15 Hamilton and Rosberg come out for one last stint.
11:13 Sauber driver Felipe Nasr gets a scare after he locks up.
11:12 20 minutes to go!
11:09 Palmer went abit wide on the turn scraped against the barrier.
11:07 Another yellow flag, lots of debris on the track as Palmer crashes!
11:06 Hamilton and Rosberg into the pits now. While Raikkonen slots into P9 with a time of 1:17.059 on Ultras.
11:05 Yellow flag waved after Gutierrez has suffers an engine failure.
11:05 McLaren looks underwhelming on the Ultra soft tyres. Alonso just put in a 1:17.916 to go 14th.
11:02 Vettel puts in a time of 1:16.342 on Ultras.
11:00 Both Red Bull owned teams are doing very well here in Monte Carlo, could be a weekend for them. Sainz just moved up to sixth. While Verstappen and Ricciardo play around in the top five.
11:00 Vettel now tries on the Ultras!
10:57 Kevin Magnussen has only been on the Ultras, he hasn't even tried any other compound yet.
10:55 Red Bull and Mercedes all going crazy on the Ultras. With Ricciardo doing two runs on the red supersofts while Ferrari doing only doing runs on the supersofts and softs.
10:54 Alonso currently running in 12th. Will be interesting to see how the go along this weekend.
10:53 Also worth noting, Ultra soft tyres will only be used on street circuits.
10:50 Bottas running on softs now.
10:48 Incredible show here in Monte Carlo at the opening practice session.
10:47 Wow! Rosberg puts 1:15.835 to pip Hamilton, but only for the Brit to out-do his teammate with a speedy time of 1:15.537.
10:45 Hamilton betters his time with a 1:16.097.
10:43 Bottas has currently put the 7th fastest time, while his teammate Massa watches from the garage.
10:42 Ricciardo returns to the pits angrily for some reason...
10:40 Wehrlein is currently 12 seconds behind Hamilton.
10:40 Verstappen looking impressive once again, cutting time on Hamilton during the first sector.
10:36 Vettel out now on the track. He goes 4th on the soft tyre.
10:35 Top 10 so far: 1.Hamilton, 2.Ricciardo, 3.Verstappen, 4.Hulkenberg, 5.Kvyat, 6.Perez, 7.Alonso, 8.Vettel, 9.Rosberg, 10.Sainz.
10:34 Verstappen goes third quickest. Behind Ricciardo and Hamilton.
10:33 Gutierrez almost has a disaster! Luckily recovers. The famous tunnel worrying drivers once again.
10:31 Mercedes should be wary of Red Bull and Ferrari here as power doesn't seem to matter that much in Monte Carlo.
10:30 Ricciardo does a great lap with his new engine! puts in a 1:16.764 with soft tyres.
10:30 1 hour left in this practice session!
10:29 Good work from the marshalls! track is clear and FP1 is underway again.
10:28 That Williams car doesn't look to healthy. Front wheel looks horrendous
10:26 Virtual safety car out on the track now.
10:26 Massa the first casualty of the morning! The Brazilian goes into the barrier.
10:25 Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen hasn't even set a time yet. Cool as ever Kimi.
10:25 Magnussen on the Ultras now as well.
10:24 Rosberg retreats into the pits after doing 12 laps on the Ultras.
10:23 Spanish Grand Prix champion out on the track now. Can Verstappen end the Mercedes party once again?
10:22 Hamilton on his ninth lap now with these purple tyres! Seems as if they can last longer than expected.
10:21 Hamilton taking control of the weekend already, refusing to slow down.
10:20 Both Toro Rosso's out on the track now!
10:16 Interestingly, pole position last year was a 1:15m, Hamilton just did 1:17.381 in FP1.
10:15 Kvyat breaks the ultra trend and goes out on softs.
10:13 Mercedes had the track to themselves there for a period. Only to be spoiled by Daniil Kvyat, who joins them.
10:12 Back and fourth between the Mercedes teammates! A sneaky little preview of what to expect on Sunday?
10:11 Hamilton pips Rosberg again! This time a lightning time of 1:18.302. Wow
10:10 Hamilton goes quicker! Almost cutting a second off his teammate with a 1:20.240 but only to bettered again by Rosberg with a 1:20.141.
10:08 Quick! Rosberg puts in a good time of 1:21.712. Ultra's are no doubt a speedy tyre, but how long can they last?
10:06 Rosberg gets us going with a flying lap on Ultra soft tyres!
10:05 Plenty of drivers feel at home here in Monte Carlo, and rightly so as most of them are residents.
10:04 All the drivers out on the track now, with only Hamilton yet to make an appearance yet.
10:03 Gutierrez running on soft tyres while they are a few other cars not out yet who have on ultras.
10:02 And we're off! Haas driver Esteban Gutierrez gets the weekend started!
10:00 Drivers are in the cars and are about to get the weekend underway!
09:55 We will also be seeing Ultra Softs being used for the first time this season.
09:50 Despite Ricciardo and Magussen receiving updates, Max Verstappen and Jolyon Palmer will be using the old Renault units.
09:45 Cloudy in Monaco this morning! Streets are cleared as another Grand Prix at the Principality is set to take place!
09:40 Also worth noting, is that Fernando Alonso, Daniel Ricciardo and Kevin Magnussen are all coming in hot this weekend with new engines. Keep an eye out for that.
09:36 Another question that is up in the air is how will Ferrari do against Red Bull? Red Bull rider Max Verstappen stole the show in Spain after taking advantage of Mercedes duo Hamilton and Rosberg taking each other out.
09:33 Going into our sixth race of the season, can Championship leader Nico Rosberg and World Champion Lewis Hamilton stay out of each others way? Judging by the narrow turns in Monaco, all eyes will be on that battle once again.
09:30 Welcome to the Circuit de Monaco for the first of Friday's two practice sessions for the Monaco Grand Prix. All times are local and this session runs for 90 minutes starting on the hour.
